Why is it so important?

Many People That Get In Car Accidents Don’t Let Their Insurance Company Know About The Accident And They Repair Their Cars Themselves . That Means That The Information About The Accident Is not Recorded in Vehicle History Report. Also There Is Other Category Of People That Have Fake Insurance (No Insurance Coverage) And They Repair Their Cars  Themselves Which Also is Not Recorded In The Vehicle History Report.

The vehicles that went through major accidents and that have a damaged frame (chassis) could be dangerous for a driver and the passengers because after the accident the frame is being stretched out (picture 1) in body shop and with a future possible similar accident  the vehicle will be bend due to the existing seams from the previous accident. Also there are body shops that cut accident vehicles for parts and then make one by joining a few parts together (picture 2, 3).

It is obvious that the geometry of the vehicle that was engineered at automobile plant changes, that means that the vehicle might be pulled to the side while driving. Driving fast in this kind of vehicle could be unsafe. Also fuel consumption could raise and the tires could wear off faster. There are a lot more changes that could happen after the accident.

Some vehicles that have high mileage get it rolled back illegally. When a buyer is assured that the vehicle has run 70k km, but in reality it is 270k km or even higher (it is impossible for a non-professional to recognize it). Besides the frame (chassis) you can find vehicles with many other flaws such as a damaged engine, gear-box, suspension etc. With today's technologies of painting the surface of a vehicle only a professional will be able to recognize the difference. It is important because re-painted surfaces are much more susceptible to rust.

Keep yourself away from stress. You may be happy to own a car with several imperfections, however you should not be paying for them. You will be informed of what needs to be fixed and an estimate of the cost.

This car was introduced at Geneva Auto Show by mobile.de, an analog of canadian autotrader.ca. They've joint Volkswagen and BMW to show and warn people that this kind of frauds exist in the market.
